You can prepare this recipe without going to the market and make your family happy by feeding it to your friends and children.
Preparation For Potato Banana
large boiled potatoes
boiled raw bananas
spoon red chili powder
spoon garam masala
spoon coriander powder
salt to taste
How To Make Potato Banana
First you take 4 to 5 big potatoes and peel them and cut them into small size, after that take raw banana and cut it into medium size pieces.
After this put the pan on the gas and keep mustard oil on medium flame to heat it.
After the oil is hot, reduce the flame to low, then add cumin and asafetida and fry it well for 20 to 30 seconds or till the cumin seeds change color.
After roasting cumin and asafoetida, now add chopped potatoes and banana in the pan and mix both well.
After that add salt and turmeric powder as per taste inside the banana and potato and mix this mixture well.
Keep stirring them with a spoon in between till the potatoes and bananas become slightly dry, then let this vegetable fry on low flame only.
Let it stay on the gas for about 4-6 minutes.
When the potatoes and bananas are well forgotten, then add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, mix them well and take care that the vegetable does not get mixed, so keep stirring it in between.
Cook the potatoes and bananas on medium to low flame till they turn red, and keep in mind that you have to cook them covered during this time.
It will take you about 5 to 7 minutes, so you can stay near the vegetable.
When the potato-banana pieces turn red, then cover them.
Cover and cook them on low flame till the potatoes are cooked.
But keep stirring them with the help of a spoon in between.
After the vegetable is prepared, add mango powder to it and mix it well and after about a minute turn off the gas.
Now your potato banana curry is ready, you can serve it with dal, rice, roti or paratha.
