Navratri is a major festival of Hindus and is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. 

Navratri comes twice a year – Chaitra Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri. 

The nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped during the nine days of Navratri. 

Some people observe fast for nine days in Navratri and some people observe fast on the first and last day. 

During Navratri fast, cereal, onion and garlic are forbidden and people start consuming fruit in the fast.

Those who keep fast for nine days in Navratri, they eat Kuttu flour, Singhada flour, Saman rice etc. 

You will usually eat Singhada flour pudding and Kuttu flour poori, but today we are going to tell you the recipe of pakoras made from them.

Preparation For Navratri Vrat Singhare Ke Aate Ke Pakode Recipe

Boiled potatoes – 2 

Water chestnut flour – 1 cup 

Green chili (finely chopped) – 4 

Coriander (finely chopped) – 1/2 cup 

Oil – 1/4 cup 

Rock salt – as per taste 

How To Make Singhare Ke Aate Ke Pakode

First take boiled and chopped potatoes in a bowl.

Now add green chilli, green coriander and rock salt and mix everything well. 

Now add water chestnut flour and mix well with the potatoes. 

After this, prepare a thick batter by adding a little water. 

Now heat oil in a pan and add pakoras to it. 

Flip the pakoras from both the sides and fry them till they turn golden. 

Serve hot dumplings with coriander-mint sauce.

Potatoes – 2 large 

Kuttu flour – 1 cup  

Black pepper – 1 teaspoon 

Coriander – 1/2 cup 

Green Chili – 4 

Oil – 1/2 cup 

Rock salt – as per taste

How To Make Kuttu Ke Aate Ke Pakode

First of all, take Kuttu flour in a vessel.

Now add black pepper, green chillies, coriander and rock salt and mix it well. 

Now prepare the solution by adding a little water. 

Cover this solution for 10 minutes. 

Now cut the potatoes into thin pieces. 

After this, heat the oil in a kadhai. 

Now wrap the chopped potato pieces well in Kuttu flour solution and fry them in the pan. 

Flip the pakoras from both the sides and fry them till they turn golden. 

Serve hot pakoras with coriander chutney or curd.
