Baigan Bharta Recipe – How To Make Baigan Ka Bharta – Tasty And Easy Indian Curries


Brinjal bharta is a popular recipe in North India. 

Many people do not like to eat brinjal vegetable but eat brinjal filling with great fervor. 

To make brinjal puree, fry the brinjal and cook it with many spices. 

Brinjal bharta is very tasty to eat and the best part is that it is very easy to make. 

You can eat it at lunch or dinner anytime. 

It is very wonderful to eat hot bread or brinjal stuffing with parathas. 

You can also serve it with lentils and rice if you want.

In this article today, we will tell you the recipe of making flavored brinjal. 

Preparation For Baigan Bharta Recipe

1 eggplant1 onion,

finely chopped 1 Tomato,

finely chopped 2 Green Chillies,

finely chopped 1 teaspoon garlic-ginger paste  

1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 teaspoon Coriander Powder

1 teaspoon Red chilli powder

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon oil

Half bowl green coriander, finely chopped

How To Make Baigan Bharta

Wash the brinjals first and wipe them with a clean cloth.

Now apply oil in brinjal and fry it from all sides on low heat. 

When the eggplant is well roasted from all sides, keep it in a plate to cool slightly.

After cooling down for a while, peel off the brinjal and mash it well with the help of a spoon or fork.

After this, heat the oil in a pan.

 When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let it cook for a few seconds. 

When the cumin seeds are roasted, add onions and fry them till they become pink. 

After this, add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and fry for 3-4 minutes.

After this, add tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and red chili powder and cook till the masala leaves the oil.

When the oil starts separating from the spices, add mashed brinjal and salt to it and mix it well with the gravy.

Allow the eggplant to cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes. 

Turn off the gas after 10 minutes and garnish with green coriander.

Serve the brinjal filling with hot roti or paratha and enjoy it.
