Calcium 

After delivery, the woman’s body needs calcium. Include milk, curd, paneer and soy milk in your diet after C-section delivery. 

These are all excellent sources of calcium. It nourishes the body and strengthens the bones. 

Fiber

Constipation is common after delivery. In such a situation, foods rich in fiber such as oats, whole grains, raw fruits and vegetables can protect you from constipation. 

Do include them in your diet. 

Protein 

Make sure to include protein-rich food in your diet after delivery. Protein helps a lot for the growth of new cells, tissue and in the healing of stitches. 

Eating foods rich in protein makes muscles strong. Add protein to your diet, including fish, eggs, chicken, dairy products, meats, peas, beans and nuts.

Vitamins 

A woman’s body needs a lot of vitamins to recover quickly after delivery. Vitamins are rich in antioxidants and help in the growth of tissues. 

Vitamin A and C are present in spinach, milk, sweet potato, peanut, ginger, garlic, egg, tomato, grape, watermelon and orange. Be sure to include them in your diet after C-section delivery. 

Iron 

Excessive bleeding at the time of delivery can lead to loss of blood and weakness. 

Make sure to include iron-rich foods like figs, spinach, pomegranate, potato, brown rice, brown roti and fenugreek in your diet after delivery. 

Due to this there will be no shortage of blood in your body and weakness will not be felt.  

Turmeric 

After delivery, turmeric milk is given to the new mother to drink. Actually, turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, which helps in quick healing of external and internal wounds.
