Monsoon Hair Care Tips – How To Take Care Of Hair During Monsoon


Monsoon brings with it many problems for our skin and hair. 

In the rainy season, the humidity is high, due to which all the problems of skin and hair start. 

Most of the women are troubled by problems like excessive hair fall, dandruff and dryness during the rainy season. 

Due to continuous shedding, the hair becomes lifeless and very thin, which can increase our anxiety further. 

Hair becomes more oily in monsoon and if the hair is not taken care of properly then the hair gets damaged. 

In the rainy season, extra care has to be taken for the hair and cleanliness also has to be taken care of.

Massage Hair With Hot Oil

Many women do not apply oil in monsoon due to which their hair becomes lifeless and dry and starts falling. 

Hair has to be taken care of more in monsoon. 

To strengthen the hair, massage the hair with warm oil at least twice a week. 

Coconut oil is very beneficial for hair. You can use almond or olive oil if you want. 

Massaging the hair with hot oil gives them the right nutrition and makes the hair strong and shiny.  

Oil And Camphor

In monsoon, there is often a problem of dandruff in the hair, due to which itching and hair fall. 

To remove dandruff from hair, mix camphor in oil and apply. 

This will cool the scalp and also get rid of dandruff.

Yogurt And Lemon

You can also use curd and lemon to prevent hair fall in monsoon. 

For this, take curd in a bowl and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon in it and mix it well. 

Now apply it on your scalp and leave it for half an hour. 

After that wash the hair with mild shampoo and water.

By doing this the hair gets moisture and hair fall is reduced. 

Applying together reduces hair fall. Acts as a natural moisturizer for hair in the rain. 

It removes dryness of scalp. 

Get rid of the problem of dandruff. 

Mix curd and lemon together and apply on the scalp. 

Let it dry for a while, then wash the hair.

Wash Hair With Apple Cider Vinegar

If you have a lot of hair fall, then wash your hair with apple cider vinegar. 

For this, while shampooing, mix 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in water and wash the hair with it. 

By doing this, the dust and dirt accumulated on the scalp (head skin) gets removed and the hair becomes shiny.

Multani Mitti Hair Pack

If your hair has become lifeless and dry in monsoon, then apply a pack of multani mitti in the hair. 

For this, mix mint leaf paste and lemon juice in multani mitti and apply it on the hair. 

After this, cover the hair with a shower cap and leave it for some time.

Afterwards wash the hair with shampoo. Doing this will bring back the shine to your hair.

Egg Mask

You can also use egg mask to take care of dry and lifeless hair in monsoon. 

For this, mix two tablespoons of curd in an egg and apply it on the hair and leave it for 15 minutes. 

Afterwards shampoo. This will nourish your hair and make hair bouncy and shiny.

Banana And Honey Hair Mask

If you are troubled by dry hair, then you can apply a hair mask made of banana and honey in the hair. 

For this take a ripe banana and mash it well. 

Now add two spoons of honey to it and mix it well. 

Apply it on your hair and leave it for an hour. 

Afterwards wash the hair with a mild shampoo. 

This will eliminate the dryness of your hair and the hair will look shiny and beautiful.
